TRIBUTE TO COVENANT UNIVERSITY'S VERY OWN BIMBO AWEDA

LIFE IS TRANSCIENT............

Right now, i lack the appropriate words to express how shaken i am by the loss of our very own eagle "BIMBO AWEDA" (2009 MIS set) . We have lost another of our dear friend, colleague, brother, loved one due to the silent killer "sickle cell anaemia". I never knew you personally and i cannot even recall the face, am sure one way or the other during my stay at covenant university we must have crossed each other’s path, am sure i must have sat close to you probably few chairs or several rows away, it doesn’t really matter, what matters is that you were one of us and i use this medium to express how we feel, let this be our (on behalf of i and my fellow Covenant University friends) tribute to you. Bimbo.. You will greatly be missed..... We pray that the lord will receive you, sleep... sleep well......... ADIEU BIMBO! As you embark on yet another journey, this is an end to your pains, the pains you lived through all your life on earth, you are in a better place i believe, where there is no pain....... where there is no sorrow..... The Lord giveth and he also taketh, who are we to question him? We shall defnitly meet to part no more..........till then.......... GOODBYE.....

My heart goes out to the entire family of the Aweda’s and may Grant you all the fortitude to bear the loss.

HOW TO CARE FOR THAT OILY SKIN THE "CLEAN AND CLEAR" WAY.

The skin is the most sensitive part of the human body as it spreads across the entire human anatomy. Oil is produced endogenously by the body which helps keep the skin healthy. But too much of oil can leave your face looking bloated and unattractive, which no one wants .An excessively oily skin especially on the face  is every woman’s night mare. Excess oil which inhibits dirt most times can lead to blemishes and an acne prone face. If not treated properly or put under control, it could make you not want to stir in the mirror. Attaining that smooth, flawless and healthy skin on your face is as easy as following these various steps judiciously.

CLEANSE
It is as easy as performing that little ritual of washing your face with luke warm water, cleansing your face in the morning and at night is the single most effective way to manage an  oily skin, dermatologists agree. “Always use a gentle cleanser, i personally recommend (clean and clear morning burst facial cleanser). I never use a bar soap or my bathing soap for my face, i feel it is not healthy. Never make a mistake of using a sponge to wash your face, it is not needed, it only further gives you irritations The simple trick is working your hands gently up and down then sideways for a few minutes repeatedly, if you do that twice per session, it is enough to clean out all the surface dirt on your face, and of course clean and clear face wash has citrus bursting beads in it which penetrates deep in the skin and relieves the skin with its natural goodness.

EXFOLIATE
Exfoliation is a process that takes care of the skin and keeps it radiant and glowing, it takes away dead skin cell from the face surface leaving it looking cleaner, brighter and healthier if carried out consistently. I would recommend clean and clear black head scrub because I use it personally. it is really effective; it has dual purposes, for exfoliation and also to combat black heads on the face, fewer black heads in days. One of the benefits of exfoliating is that it keeps your skin looking younger.

TONE

A toner can also be called an astringent. Toners are meant to remove all traces of oil, makeup and dirt, but a good cleanser should do this. I firmly believe it’s up to you. If you like the way your skin feels with toner, buy it, use it, and enjoy it. Cleansers also restore the PH balance of your skin and it prepares your skin to receive the moisturizers. Clean and clear astringent is also a good option.

MOISTURIZE

This is largely dependent on your skin type, if you have an oily skin; go for the non greasy moisturizer, this you should do immediately after applying a toner. Moisturizing helps to seal in your natural oils and it acts as a barrier between your skin and the environment. Getting that flawless face you have always desired is this easy .
