MAKE UP TIPS "LIPS TO DIE FOR"

It's easier than you think to have luscious, healthy lips. If you're having trouble with chapped lips, follow these simple, cheap and pocket friendly tips to achieve that sexy pout you have always desired.
  • Exfoliate your lips, yes you also exfoiliate your face/skin and body, you could also do same for your lips too. Get a cube of sugar, dip the tip of your mid finger into water and get like 3 drops of water on the cube, take the cube and scrub your lip of course without makeup on your lips, scrub for a maximum of five minutes, when you are done, apply a lip balm on it, you will notice how visibly pink/red the new skin on your lip is, all the chapps gone off.

  • Dip a plain toothbrush in petroleum jelly or Vaseline, then use it brush all the dead skin off your lips. Alternatively, mix a tablespoon of honey with enough sugar until you get a body-scrub-like texture, the scrub it across your lips with a toothbrush. Exfoliating will leave them smoother and make them look healthier. This is another alternative to the sugar therapy, you could try any of this healthy choices.

  • Avoid eating salty foods that leave a buildup on your lips. Salt draws moisture out of things, which is why people use it to dry and preserve meat. Eating pringles, for example, will leave a salty powder residue around your mouth, causing you to lick your lips which increases the dryness.

  • Avoid licking your lips. Saliva dries out your lips, especially since licking your lips is a quick way to remove both lip balm.[

  • Use lip balm as a base for your lipstick. This will create a protective moisture seal beneath your makeup, not to mention make it easier to apply, also when you retire to bed at night take time to also mositurize you lips while asleep by applying a little lip balm. Use a moisturizing lipstick in the daytime, then switch to lip balm at night. Wake up in the morning with smooth lips.
  • Lastly, drink plenty of water. Staying hydrated is a great way to keep your lips moist..
